The satellite, which weighs 70 kilograms and was jointly developed by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (ASTRA), carries a terahertz satellite communication payload for a 6G test, which will be the world's first technical verification of Terahertz communication in a space application scenario, according to the report.
